Derryquay National School is a mixed primary school located at Derrymore East, Tralee, Co. Kerry, about 5 km west of Tralee on the Dingle peninsula. Derryquay National School caters for all levels of primary school education, from Junior Infants to 6th Class. The school has a long tradition of educational excellence and is committed to providing a curriculum which best meets the needs of all the pupils. The school wishes to nurture responsible, capable, caring individuals in a Christian environment who respect themselves and others.
There are presently two mainstream class teachers in our school, one ASD class teacher, two SNAs and a secretary.

Christmas Carols - Curraheen Church. Pupils performing traditional carols to help get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

Seachtaín na Gaeilge & Lá Glas -Activities through Irish as part of the worlds largest Irish language festival.

School Tour - Annual school trip which is always special and full of memories for the pupils. Location to be decided.
JUN
Sports Day - St. Pat's GAA Club, Blennerville. Always a popular day out for staff and pupils alike with a healthy bit of competition.
